Gas flare elimination programme reduces flaring intensity by 62% year-on-year

Lagos, Nigeria | 18 April 2026

Gas gathering infrastructure expansion across three operating areas has delivered a 62% reduction in flaring intensity against the 2025 baseline.

The programme captures associated gas that would previously have been flared and routes it to processing, where it is conditioned for sale or for use in adjacent power generation.

The reduction puts the company on track against its commitment to eliminate routine flaring across operated assets by 2028.
