Last-mile grid connections reach 48,000 households across three operating areas

Distributed power generation in three operating areas now supplies last-mile grid connections to adjacent communities, covering 48,000 households that were previously without reliable electricity.

The connections run off the same gas-to-power fleet that serves industrial off-takers, rather than a separate community scheme.

Coverage is expected to widen as further generation capacity is commissioned in the operating areas.
